The Burt's Bees Brand Platform looks at different aspects of the brand like it's advertising, social media, packaging, and retail stores or brand logos. It also looks at how it's positioned and it's supporting associations, and it's target market.

This brand platform was created in my Strategic Brand Management class. This was a group project and we got tasked to pick a brand that brings itself to life. We chose Burt's Bees because we thought people really knew it what it was since it brings itself to life.

The goal of this project was to focus on a brand and tell it's story and how it's brought to life. It took about a week to create. There was a written part and presentation part.

Since I worked with two others, we split it up and chose which parts we wanted to do based on our strengths. There was one struggle with one person, he didn't really contribute much to the paper. One of my group members and I were frustrated with him because he kept asking us what he needed to do rather than just looking at the paper and deciding what he needed to do. I would say I was more of the initiator of the project because I was the one who wanted to get it started and made the presentation.

One of the main takeaways from this project was looking at how a brand is brought to life. I enjoyed doing this project because I like the brand Burt's Bees, so looking at the brand more in-depth was interesting. I also liked this project because I felt like I could use my creativity with the presentation, I thought it turned out really nice and I felt confident presenting it.
