These are some projects I worked on as a Marketing and Social Media Intern with the Lake Country DockHounds. There are a couple projects I did with them that I am most proud of.

Going in the order they are placed, the first one is showcasing our Beer Can Races, just like the Milwaukee Brewers Sausage Race. As a social media team, we were given the task to come up with personalities for our beer cans. After we came up with them, I came up with the idea to make videos to show off their personalities. There were three of us and three cans, so we each filmed and edited one. It only took a day to make all of these and the outcome turned out great and it was a lot of fun to make.

The second project I was tasked was so film and edit a mic'd up of some of the players. The goal was to show off some of the player's personalities. Another one of the marketing interns and I went down to the field one day during batting practice and asked a couple of the players some questions. We got some good content and went to go edit it. It was a bit of a rigorous editing process, but eventually I got it, and thought the final result turned out good and showcases the players well.

The next project was to film a stadium tour. The goal was to show off places fans can get tickets and enjoy the game. We had one of the other interns as the person giving the tour because we thought he would make it fun and entertaining. It turned out really good and it was a lot of fun to film and edit.

The last project was a task from the owner of the DockHounds. She asked us to film and focus on three different sections of the stadium that was unique to the DockHounds. We split them up between the three of us Marketing and Social Media Interns. The one I got was to focus on the Kids Zone. That was fun to make because I got to interact with some kids and ask them why they liked the kids zone. It was a bit of a struggle because some kids when I asked, didn't want to be in a video. But it turned out good and the owner really liked it.

Looking back at all these projects, they are all showing off not just baseball. Sometimes you think working for a sports team, you only have to focus on showing off the sport. But that is far from the truth. The key takeaway I learned from all the projects from this internship, was to focus on what is going on off the field. To show off what there is for fans to do, have fun, and be entertained.
